Dear all, I'm happy to inform you that our amendment request has been accepted and signed by EC, and that now we can go ahead with our plan, starting all planned secondments and completing all the deliverables. Below you can find the amendment justification we prepared that highligths the major changes, that are now all reflected into the Continous Reporting section of the portal. It has been a long and complex process, with a lot of delays and requests of changes by the EC, but eventually we did it. Next steps the submission of D4.1 (internal review almost completed) and D5.1 (expected next week). D5.2, leader UMIL, will be prepared in August to be submitted end of the month. Fulvio ******************** The Consortium is requesting this Amendment mainly to allow the execution of the highest number possible of secondments in the final part of the project. The amendment in particular is focused on the following points. 1) Inclusion of the new beneficiary LIBRA. The Consortium decided to focus the activities on the pilots for the last year of the project. A number of secondments have already been planned in PAGNI and we included the new partner LIBRA, based in Greece, to foster the synergies with the pilot UPAT. LIBRA committed to host secondments from EAIN and CUT in order to be in closer proximity with UPAT, and to perform 36PM hosted by CUT to work on the finalization of the model and the infrastructure. The Consortium will exploit LIBRA's experience in cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence systems. This will allow also a good knowledge transfer in an area that still was not fully covered in the project. In particular, the contribution of LIBRA will be focused on T3.3, T3.4, and T4.5. The new partner will entry in force at the date of 15/05/2024. 2) Change in the budget. UMIL accepted to reduce its commitment to 12 PM, and PAGNI to limit it at 27PM. Moreover, EAIN effort has been reduced to 30PM. UMIL, EAIN, and PAGNI budgets have been decreased respectively. 3) Reshuffling of secondments. The Consortium did a deep analysis of the expected secondments for each partner until the end of the project. UMIL, EAIN, and PAGNI decided to release a total of 51 PMs that will be committed by LIBRA (36PM) and CUT (15PM). The new secondments plan take in consideration the interchange between UMIL, EAIN, LIBRA, CUT, and PAGNI, and an update in the hosting organizations for UPAT's, EAIN, and TRID in order to foster the synergies with pilots and to reach the maximum coverage of available PMs. 4) D4.1 one-month extension. The Consortium decided to postpone the delivery of D4.1 of one month (M55) to allow the developing team of WP4 to closely examine the findings of WP3 about the models and the analysis of WP5 about the technical requirement and the status of pilot environments. With this re-organization, the Consortium plan to reach a coverage of the secondment plan higher than 90%.
